Australopithecus africanus

Between 2 and 3 million years ago, Austalopithecus africanus began selling pieces of wood and bone to other clans in the area.  Frequently, other members of the species would throw rocks in annoyance at the "intruder", as the peddler would often appear after a recent boar kill and interrupt their dinner.  

Some scholars regard A. africanus as a direct ancestor of human beings, while others see this species as "cousins" of ancestral humans, who evolved, thrived for a time, and then became stock brokers.
