Homo sapien
Homo sapiens, the earliest forms of
our own species, occurred approximately 300,000 to 400,000 years ago.
The Neanderthal remains appear primitive and crude, rather like Homo
erectus and quite different from modern humans. The
speech areas of the Neanderthal brain are not as developed as ours (with
the exception of people from Brooklyn).
