The modern day telemarketer
appeared throughout the world within the past 100 years.
Because of bone deformities in the arm caused by excessive
dialing, telemarketers no longer have the need to actually dial
a telephone any more. Thus, we as the consumer, hear the 2
second warning of background noise before a solicitor begins
his/her script. For those not interested in doing what I
do, this gives the victim time to hang up. |
